I finally caught up through episode 5. I've not had any problem downloading and playing the bit torrents. Mininova (Brint) has a good file up pretty quickly. If the person who was having a hard time with Windows Media Player still is forget the codecs crap. Just use VLC. So much easier than dealing with constant codec updates.

Yes, Terri is real. There is no acting involved. No one behaves that way unless they are that way. I like the team but they are a train wreck for sure. Still they, and not media whores M/R, will be the team most remembered years from now from Season 2. They are the most memorable though sometimes in a pretty bad way.

So far the Japanese brother/sister team has sneaked up on me to become one of my favorites. So too the gym buddies. And Henry & Terri because they are who they are. Of the endless mactor teams I'd say the Aussie Thais are the least grating because they actually seem to be enjoying the Race and not busy camera whoring.

I've liked The Dancing Mums so far too so was surprised with the SUDDEN (and shoddy, no build-up to it) edit about how The Dancing Mums are E-V-I-L and how everyone hates them. Four episodes they were fine. Episode 5 and they are suddenly The Great Satan?!? If they are? Well this is a visual medium. Show them being evil. Don't merely tell us. Because right now they have shown us nothing to make them the villain team. Obviously the other teams don't seem to like them but why? I can't buy into booing a team based on other teams' hearsay.

They did this somewhat with Andy last season. He never did anything evil other than one taxi steal and a wishy-washy steal at that. The rest was his joking no one took serious and a traffic ticket. So I have no doubt that The Dancing Mums are being set up for a fall with this current edit which is too bad since there is already an all time villain team.

Which brings us to Marc / Rovilson (what kind of name is that, he's from America and these isn't anyone named that here). They are the REAL villains for me sapping the joy and energy out of Season 2 with their endless attempts to host TAR instead of the new and improved Allan. They are hijacking the show worse than ever Romber did because Romber was in the editing that made the Race endlessly about them. MR are in the endless artificial performing crap. MR is just wrecking TARA2. The big alpha male team who always wins AND are professional TV people who always play to the camera to promote themselves. Like I said in the hate thread, they make BJ & Tyler seem authentic by comparison. They bring nothing to the show and take everything away. They are the worst casting decision AXN has made to date.

As for the others, I could care less about the two young dating couples. Glad they are both gone. I heard bad things about the first out team and the bald guy and the crying chick were boring and she was suppose to be some super mactor type anyway. I forget which female team is out now. I thought it was the sisters but I thought I saw them the next episode so maybe the housemates or ex-roommates or whatever the shit they termed that mactor team went out instead. Either way I didn't like either much. Both teams were/are boring with no personalities. The only mactor team I can stomach so far is the Aussie Thai girls like I said because they seem to actually like the Race and have showed some enthusiasm without that seeming to be forced or artificial for the camera.

Best line so far was the one person pronouncing the mat at the geyser as geezer and saying they had to get to the geezer with a quick edit to Allan. That was the type of edit they would pull with Phil. Well done.

Product placements go to the singing camera moments over the gas station ones. Unless Calitex (sp?) has one where they spray each other with gasoline then light a match like in Zoolander, they will continue to bore and annoy.

Sleging gave me flashbacks to The Bowling Moms which is always good. Hell's Gate was back but no Brandon to say "shoot" and "fudge" there. NZ screaming greeter gets kudos. I'd never get the ice puzzle since I never heard of the city. Only a Henry method would have worked for me. RBs and Detours and especially the random tasks have been pretty good in the main. Not a bad season so far if someone would just kill the stupid TV hosts. Not Allan, the other two lame ones that are giving the Philippines a very bad name. They are more annoying than jabbering talk radio DJs. Just shut up and die.
