Does it do anything besides give you directions? I have a Garmin StreetPilot and I'd rather just use a map. But I'm old school like dat.

It gives turn by turn directions with text to speech (that mean it says the road names).
You can also put Fodor's guides into it, use it as a language translator, mp3 player, and audio book player. ETA: It will also function as a 2Gb USB drive.

I don't think mine says street names. Or does it? Hmmm. I'm pretty sure she doesn't. Her voice is very annoying. She makes good sammiches
