I posted this at RFF but I think she is waiting for Ron to finish the road block and a team is only able to u-turn ONCE the road block is completed so she is
waiting for him to come so they can use it.

A U-Turn at the million dollar point? I hope not.

What the -- ?! A U-Turn?! But Phil said there were only two!
Well, then again, if he could lie about there not being any NELs . . . |

If it was a logic roadblock, why would Ron/Chris want Ron to do it? It's the final RB, you'd think they would let the younger team mate do it. |

Maybe it was an UNUSED uturn that they decided NOT to show from PREVIOUS legs?

Nah, I think another team might have mentioned that in the elimination interviews... right? I mean, we found out about the unused FF from S/J's interview.

Oh...nm. Another thread said it might be part of a memory game roadblock that Christina's doing.

so the glacial climb would be the detour? or just a normal task?

Ron & Chris has GOT to win now! They seem very happy running to the finish line.
Nic & Don isn't shown running to the finish line, though. Could easily mean they never get there. |

Actually Nick and Don are in TV guide on the same path as Ron and Chris and look pretty upset and both didn't bother dropping bags.
I say it's either Ron//Chris or TK/Rachel |

2nd place -
Rachel: "Shit, we're so close, but maybe we can still catch up" TK: "Nah, second place is already awesome."

1st place - "Yipeeeee!"
This is just my analysis, but notice Christina running behind Ron, she probably wanted to make sure her dad is alright until the finish line. If they're apparently second, I would have imagined them running side by side, ala Teri/Ian, the Bransens, etc but of course i'm not delusional enough to automatically disregard Nick/Don as the winners. :) |

looks spot on to me... I'll be shocked if it isn't
1- Ron & Christina 2- TK & Rachel 3- N/D |

Kris700:
I'm replying to something you wrote a while back. Alas, I cannot deliver on the list you requested. I don't record episodes, nor do I take notes. I pretty much just take in the show as a whole and do not dwell on details. However, the wildest colts make the best horses. I find women like Jen very challenging, and my tongue is more than sharp enough to give at least as as good as I get in the repartee department. When they see that they don't win by throwing insults, they soon try something else. With that said, if you watch her performance as a whole, her little overreactive hot flashes are pretty much short term and situational. Usually she's all smiles soon thereafter when the crisis is over. I am an expert tournament bridge player, and personalities like Jen's are very common, even typical, in that arena. Bridge players under competitive pressure tend to act just like Jen when they feel their partner has let them down or things just are generally not going the way they should, although they may be humble little marshmallow people away from the bridge table. BTW, it's pretty clear that we see each team for a very small part of the time it takes to complete a leg, and the editors will pounce on every show of temper that a player like Jen presents. They did a lot of good things during the game, but were very unlucky at all the wrong times. Time after time, they would build up nice advantages based on skill, but then would get screwed by circumstances over which they had no control, especially toward the end of a leg when they had no opportunity to recover or restitute. Indeed, my main problem with this show is that there are so many bunching points that only a really serious mistake toward the beginning of a leg is usually costly, while it takes only a bit of bad luck toward the end of a leg to swing the result, and in some cases, produce an essentially random result. |

What are you talking about? Ignoring Nate and choosing to take subway wasn't unlucky. And they (sorry, she) had FULL control over that decision.

My question is- has the winning team ever NOT been featured in the first promo? Rond and Chris were, so were Nick and Don. Unless TK/Rachel were so boring
that they didn't include them even if they won. But come on, they included Meredith and Maria, and even Tramel and Talicia. I might be mistaken though I
don't remember them in the first promo.
