Based on the facebook connection, I have a feeling the F5 are Erik, PG, Sherea, Jaime, *insert flipping Fei Long female here* (Amanda?). Lets say the F7 are
those five and Todd, Frosti. Jaime and Erik are having their romance, Amanda(?) proposes an all female alliance because a) Frosti is not going to lose a
challenge to any of those and b) they don't trust Todd because he knows the game too much. So the all female alliance actually works with Jaime flipping on
her love with Erik causing him to make his myspace lost love comment, Frosti wins immunity so Todd's gone. Then Frosti loses and gets booted, we have our
F5. Complete spec based on who was friends with who on facebook basically.

With all the controversy with the other CBS reality show Kid Nation, two parents of different kids on the show were reported to have said something similar in the form of an analogy to the press. Sorry I forgot already what is was but it does go to the suspcion that CBS fed lines to the parents to counter all the criticism. So I wouldn't put it pass CBS to have ready made lines for Survivor contestants to quote to people who ask. |

From watching the TV Guide vids and with these early spoilers, I would have to say Fei Long is mostly unified and a very strong tribe. Expect a lot of Fei
Longs at the merge and in the endgame. This is how I see it happening:
Fei Long: Leslie, Courtney, Denise, James, Amanda, Todd (main alliance) Aaron, Jean Robert are the outsiders Zhan Hu: Pei-Gee, Frosti, Dave, Jaime, and Erik (main alliance) Sherea, Steve, and Ashley are the outsiders. We know the first two boots are Chicken and Ashley, so that eliminats them all ready 16. Chicken 15. Ashley 14. Sherea (Sick) Fei Long finally has to go to TC. Jean Robert was supposedly online before filming ended, and with him all ready trying to toot his horn and get sponsorships and such, I don't think he's long for this game. I think online during episode three is quite accurate. 13. Jean Robert 12-10 I think this is when we start to lose the men. Erik, Dave, and Aaron (merge boot) will all be eliminated, decimating Zhan hu. So, the merge consists of: James, Denise, Leslie, Courtney, Amanda, Todd, Frosti, PG, Jaime make up the jury and final two. This is when PG and Frosti make a deal with Denise, Leslie, Courtney, and James (they are the power alliance on their tribe) as they agree they'll take out Jaime to show their loyalty to the new alliance. 9. Jaime 8. Todd (Online circa final 8) 7. Amanda 6. Frosti (The deal is off, James would've gone but he won immunity) 5. James (Too much of a challenge threat) FINAL FOUR: PG, Leslie, Denise, and Courtney I for some reason think it's going to either be a Denise/Courtney or a Leslie/Courtney final two. From Probsts' comments about 'adoring' Denise I think she'll be the threat to take towards the jury, so she bows out third. Unless PG wins immunity, I'd say she's out fourth, but I think depending on who PG got close to, I can see a lot of people not wanting to go against her since the majority of Fei Long will be pissed they didn't stick together and PG would get votes for not pissing off Fei Long rather than for good gameplay. PS I know this is a lot of spec based on spoilers but I think the TV Guide vids really focus on the coming alliances of the tribes. By the way, does anyone know if Probsts comments are Pre or Post production?

Courtney came off really self-centered in the TV huide clips. I wonder how she makes it fat if she does.

Does anyone have any idea if there is a pagonging this season?
Looking at it so far, I think Zhan Hu will be in the minority. I am somewhat interested to find out how PG makes it so far though. |

I would hazard a guess that team yellow gets pagonged earlier on, but then the balance of power shifts with a switch.

I would have to say Fei Long is mostly unifiedWas wondering what gave you the impression that they were unified? I found Fei Long distant to each other in the photo shoot. In the other part of the clip on FEET, the 3 girls seemed to tolerate each other more than really enjoy learning about each other. Only Amanda and Aaron gave me 'showmance' vibes. Zhan Hu looked like they were working well together and Frosti was lightening the mood. They were supporting Ashley and telling her it was okay that she was sick. I think that Zhan Hu is culled early with Chicken and with Ashley and Sherea being sick. But then I can see the remaining tribe solidified in spirit, maybe win a couple of IC, but then there will probably be a tribe-swap before merge to mix things up. My take on things: 16. Chicken- ZH-TV guide vids day after IC and no Chicken to be seen.. our first 'gimme' boot from media in years! 15. Ashley- ZH-shown very sick and TDT gives us hint she is given the sleeper hold into the walk of shame 14. Leslie- FL-With Sherea able to sit out IC, ZH wins and Leslie preaching is on deaf ears and is seen as the weakest physical tribe member (damn and after applying 11 times!) 13. Sherea- ZH -Still seen as a liability to the tribe SWAP TIME?? 12. Jean Robert FL - or getting close to merge JR is seen to not need the money and his 'game face' makes people suspicious.. He folds. 11. Aaron- FL Outside the main alliance, able to lose him as it is close to merge time 10. Eric - ZH- and Jaime is, like, totally, like, like bummed.. this is where the cute guy seems to disappear in recent seasons Tribes merge Frosti wins next 3 IC: 9. James- FL IC threat and loner 8. Jaime -ZH 7. Todd - FL 6. Frosti-ZH Frosti loses IC and is seen as only time tribe can vote him out Amanda rules IC from here: 5. Courtenay FL seen as not as deserving as other 4 (and annoyed people along the way) 4. Denise -FL- too well liked so big threat if F2 3. Dave -ZH Amanda sees PG as easier to beat in F2 so takes Dave out 2. PEI GEE -ZH Closer vote than anticipated 4-3 for Amanda or 5-2 1. Amanda! FL... this is wishful thinking, I think she will struggle pre-merge as it looks like Denise Leslie and Courtenay already have a 3-way alliance here.

Perhaps too much is being made of the TV Guide channel day 2 video clips. If TV Guide Channel would have had clips from day 2 of Survivor Thailand, everyone
would be concluding that Ted & Ghandia had a strong alliance. I think that the TV guide teleconference with Jeff Probst is more revealing. With Jeff
Probst hinting how much the Art of War book plays into the season and how he would be OK with staying another two weeks, it's clear that the teleconference
was held after the game ended.

True Tullfan, predictions of alliances and outcomes can only be predicted for the early days of the video. Especially given there will be kidnappings and the
ever possible tribal swap.

This is not exactly a bootlist spoiler but there is a spoiler at Survivor Skills that after the start of the Buddhist Ceremony, Leslie has a meltdown and flees
the temple. That could be an indication that she does not last long.

A meltdown in temple? OMG! I can't wait to watch it already.

That might explain why her friends have been rushing to her defense in the Sucks forum. Pre-emptive damage control.

It seems that being a christian, Leslie finds it hard to participate in the Bhudist ceremony. She holds in her umcomfortable fealings in the begining, but runs
only when they enter the temple. This season is already stating out great!

Slightly off topic, but Jeff did spend more time in China, Julie flew out and they went on holiday in China...

I am not trying to start a religious debate or anything but, I think that, that was very rude and inconsiderate of Leslie to run out like the way she
did...I am also a Christian, but, just because I believe one way and someone else believes another, that does not make their belief's wrong and mine right
or, my belief's wrong and theirs right...
I do not agree with or believe in my Daughter-in-Law's religion but, I respect her and it because that is her belief. Leslie, should have respected their beliefs, weather she believed in it or not...I think that she could have shown a little bit of respect for the Chinese Buddhist ceremony... P. S. Please do not Bash or Flame me...This is just my opinion.. |

Ok, so this is my first Yuku post. My old account is not working on Yuku and I'm very upset I am no longer good-ole SuRvIvOrPhAn1017
...anyways, on to the point of my post: What if the reason why Leslie runs out of the temple has nothing to do with the religious experience, but rather the chicken getting its head cut off experience. With the new info that the castaways witness a sacrafice at the temple, it makes sense that someone might be offended/disgusted/put off by this type of ceremony. |
