Yeah it was odd to hear how Amanda never really connected with other contestants. I don't understand how she could do this, knowing that it is a social game, and you would need to count on these people for a vote in the end. It took being stranded alone with Peih-Gee for her to finally talk to her. Did she think she was better then these people? Since she was in a power position she didn't need to talk with them?....similar to Brian H. and Penny? If so that is a crucial mistake for a "fan" of the game to make, and once can see how it cost her a million dollars. She never tried to form bonds with people, then just tried to be apologetic and make puppy eyes to gain favor. This wasn't a beauty pageant, it's Survivor....and between her and Todd, the right person won.

Yeah...I thought Courtney was awesome at tribal council. Throughout the season she has shown that she is articulate...and I figured she would be able to give solid answers to the questions presented to her. In terms of "weak" players-in the finals ie. Katie, Becky, Cassandra, Lil, I think Courtney was actually able to convince people why she deserved to win, and what she had to overcome to get to that spot and last the 39 days. The others I thought were unable to come close to doing that and in a sense got laughed at, while 86lb. Courtney, held her own, made a strong case, and I thought she might have actually pulled it off as people might have been bitter towards Todd....but Jaime and Jean-Robert changed that up.
