If Ana will be form today, it will pass Hurricane Alicia of 1983 which was also started in mid-August of that year.

Hitting that warm water on the South side of Cuba would be explosive and send it right up the Gulf shoot. Waiting for the northern and eastern waters off Haiti
and the DR to catch up. Then it'll be AWWWWWWWWWWN.
