I am a Chines. I live in Hong Kong.
I would say red (merge) and yellow for sure, maybe green or gold or grey or brown. Definitly NOT white. White is "death" color in Chinese culture. |

Red means blood or lucky in Chinese culture.
That's why there is "Red Packets". That's why China National Flag is red. |
