If you were in Cindy's position/who do you think was right? I would have to agree with Cindy/Steph/Lydia. Cindy earned the car by winning the reward, I thought Rafe was being an ass.

I would of given the other 4 cars.
If someone gave me a fucking car I'd sure the hell wouldn't vote them out at that TC. |

I would definitely take the car. Screw everyone else. I won it. Cindy made the right choice. And I was so pissed when Rafe and Danni were saying how they would've given the car up in a heartbeat. That's a bunch of crap if you ask me! They can go screw themselves.

I'd probably give it up, not because of any curse, but because it just makes strategic sense. Besides, the winner gets a car anyway, and by the time you reach the final five, you'll get enough money to buy yourself a car.

Personally I agree with Rafe that there was really only one choice in that situation - you've gotta give away the cars.
However, Cindy chose to keep it, so was that a bad decision which led to her ouster? or was it the right decision, given that, like she said, they may have voted her out next anyway? |

The other people didn't earn the car so why should they get one? That's like giving kids trophies in Little League when their team was the worst in the league. That's just an insult to the kids who were actually good enough to win. I definitely would have kept it all for myself.

I think Cindy would have won major brownie points with the jury if she had given them away. Either Danni or Lydia would have gone tonight and I think Cindy would beat either Rafe or Steph in the final IC is she made it past the next one. That girl was tuff.

To me that was just insane what Cindy did.
Doesn't she know that there probably would have been a twist where she would have gotten a car, or something way better anyway? Also, she guaranteed that she would continue the 'curse of the car' by pissing off the remaining 4 of the final 5...was it really worth it? Plus, there's the whole deal about how she's going to be regarded after the show. What about all the money she would have made on endorsement deals - probably would have made more than enough for a couple of cars just for that one little move of generosity during the show. I guess maybe that, being a "lowly zookeeper" and never having owned a car in her life, that this really was worth it to her. I don't get it... |

Somebody asked the same question last week and I said no way, I'd keep the car. After watching the show and thinking about it, I've changed my mind. I'd probably second guess myself a lot but I'd end up giving up the car so the other 4 could have it. Particularly on this season, I'd have 3 people (Danni, Rafe & Lydia) who'd love me for it and wouldn't vote me off. The only person I could see being an ungrateful bitch is Stephenie, but then again, she'd look like total scum to the jury for voting off somebody who gave her a car.
 It's a tough choice but I'd risk the car for a better shot at a million. If I get voted off then I still have the 5th place $$$. |

It's a no win decision. Now obvious right answer.
I'd try to negotiate with Probst. How be all 5 of us draws straws, so we each get an 80% shot at a car? If not, can I have anyone who wins the million promise on their life to give me the car back? If that's not allowed, maybe I'd take the car (especially if I'd just been blindsided at the previous TC). But negotiating would make me look more altruistic. |

I would have kept it. Then I would've at least walked away from the experience with a car, compared to those who walk away with nothing but bug bites to show from the experience.
By giving up the car, I don't necessarily guarantee myself a win on Survivor. Had Cindy given up her car last night, does that mean that she had automatically won Survivor Guatemala? No. She could've given up the car but still get voted off next, voted off in fourth, third place or came in second. And it would all come to naught, because besides not having the car, she wouldn't have the million dollars as well. |

Something I thought of this morning: if Cindy gave up the car and lost, the eventual winner would have two cars, and as we saw at the ASS finale, they'd have to give one up. Would any of them not give it to Cindy since she's the reason they won a car in the first place?

I would have given the cars and not for strategic reasons but jsut to be able to do somehting like that. Though I don't blame anyone for keeping it. That's just me.
