I admit I've never heard of Bobby Jon. Ok obviously Bobby and Jon are common names but I've never heard the two strung together like that. And it seems like everyone called him exactly that: Bobby Jon. No one ever dropped the "Jon" so I assume that's what he wanted to be called.

Willard is coomon. Paschal is common in French, though with no "h", but I can see why it would sound weird to Americans.

Rory on Gilmore Girls - of course, it's an abbreviation of Lorelei there supposedly but she still goes by Rory 99% of the time.

Before the show started i couldn't know how to pronounce Cirie's name. I thought the "C" was a "k" sound.
Obviously, i wasn't the only one .....Harry from the early show also couldn't say the name ...he said it wrong only for JP to correct it for him. |
