Good idea, I'll post my own, although gotta make a comment on something that was said first:

Nonsense. Some players in ASS didn't play the game, thats obvious. The 2 quitters, Jenna M and Susan. Rich and Colby obviously were not as in to it as they were the first time. You can't really say with Tina and Rudy, as they were out of the game so quickly. And Alicia, with her anti-alliance attitude obviously was not gonna come anywhere close to winning. But everyone else there did play the game. Did they do it successfully? No. Boston Rob and Amber were the only ones that did it successfully. But that doesn't mean the remaining players didn't play the game. Lex certainly did. Heck, his problem was that he played it too much! He went overboard in his strategizing, deciding to take out the strongest players early so they wouldn't be a threat early on. Now the fact that he did this long before the merge was absurdly moronic, but that doesn't mean he wasn't playing the game. Heck, the ASS jury was by far the most bitter jury in Survivor history; they wouldn't be so pissed if they weren't there to play the game! And singling out Shii Ann yet not including anyone else? Thats absurd! Yes, Shii Ann has her own way of playing the game - doing absolutely nothing and letting everyone else make the decisions (pretty much the same as Amber!). And I won't say that she didn't play the game, she certainly did. But to include her in a list of those who "played the game" while leaving out Lex, Kathy, Rupert, Jenna, Jerri, etc... is absurd.

Anyway,

Most Underrated Player: Colleen. In that massacre TC where Gretchen got booted, she was the one person to vote for Rich. And she later did the impossible and got Pagong to form an alliance, although by then it was one episode too late. A victim of her tribemember's stupidity, unfortunately. Of course she's not absolved from all Pagong's dumb actions, she did vote for Jenna in ep 8 after all.

Most Underrated Jury Speech: To be honest, can't think of one.

Most Underrated Season: Guatemala. Gets bashed by many, but I feel thats largely due to the fact that these people consider themselves editing geniuses and this season completely destroyed their credibility. I loved this season from beginning to end, with the sole flaw being that Steph and BJ should never have gotten a second chance. In the end, the fact that Steph completely destroyed herself made up for that though.

Regarding Africa, I'd have to say after ASS it's probably my least favorite season. The location was just plain horrible. Many of the players were no where as memorable as the fandom would let you believe (Kelly G for example). Members of Samburu were pagong-esque in their stupidity, and while I liked the winner (gotta love a fellow Bostonkian winning it :)), did not care for any of the other people in the final 4.

Most Underrated Character: This is a toughie. So I'll go with you on Joel for now :P

Most Underrated Winner: Danni. Bashed for essentially having the game fall in her lap, thats utter garbage. Ruled things on NuYaxha, and when she could have sat on her ass and did nothing with immunity at F6, she turned the game around.

Most Underrated Hottie: I'd probably go with Kim Powers. Much better than the other 2 'hotties' from that season, Kelly and Jessie.

Why do younger, more flamboyant males seem to get so overrated when it comes to playing the game? Coby, Jeff V., Brandon, and Brian did NOTHING. I don't get why they are so loved. All the boots they "orchestrated" likely would have happened anyways. Other then John C, these guys didn't effect the game so much.

Which Brandon did you mean? The Africa one? Forget being good at playing the game, this guy was an absolute disaster. Voting for Kelly was one of the stupidest votes ever. The Guatemala one? Was never much of a player in my eyes (why the editing experts were all over him as the winner completely eluded me); very clear as someone to me that wouldn't last 1 or 2 eps past the merge. As for Brian, he did help Blake get booted by encouraging him to go even more overboard than he already was going.
