Re: The "What If" Game | ||

Darrah would not have switched sides so easily. Andrew had them all so brainwashed into the "Morgan 5" I think it would have went to rocks. Although Jeff might have provoked Osten to quit ala Janu to save Rupert and his tribe.

Re: The "What If" Game | ||

Osten wouldn't have quit after a merge, I don't think. It's his bizarre, flip-flopping behavior that makes him a target, and while Andrew was pushing "Morgan 5" as hard as Rupert pushed "Drake Pride," Darrah had to know she was the odd person out on some measure. It also comes down to the fact that Jon was both a target and a swing vote, which we all know was a dumb move. However, we think of this: No one wanted to draw rocks. Jon would rather vote with Drake than be voted off. He's not going to throw away his vote. So we know the Drakes are solid, and we know the Morgan 4 are solid. Someone has to give, and the Morgans' hatred for Jon plays against them. That's why I have the vote going against Osten.

I'd like to thank you for doing that for me, DEVILRAYS. I had a mental lapse there, but I think Sassy Sandra would have still won reguardless of there being outcasts or not. But you're right. They wold have booted Shawn, Lill and Fairplay a lot eariler because my final four (Rupert, Sandra, Christa and Tijuana) would have made sure of it.
NOW: I did an all female Survivor thread a few months ago without knowing about the women in Exile Island. Here what I had then: BORNEO Kelly Wiglesworth Colleen Haskell OUTBACK Tina Wesson AFRICA (None) MARQUESAS Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien Tammy Leitner Neleh Dennis THAILAND Shii-Ann Huang Helen Glover Stephanie Dill AMAZON Heidi Strobel Christy Smith Jenna Morasca PEARL ISLANDS Sandra Diaz-Twine Christa Hastie VANUATU Ami Cusack Eliza Orlins Leann Slaby PALAU Katie Gallagher Stephenie LaGrossa GUATEMALA Danni Boatwright Lydia Morales Okay. Before I do this what if, tell me who you would take out and which two (or three) of the eight Exile Island women would you put in their place. Maybe my outcome will change...maybe it won't. But it will put a new spin on my what if. So if you guys could...help me out. Here's your Exile Island choices. EXILE ISLAND (choose from) Misty Giles Sally Schumann Danielle DiLorenzo Courtney Merit Cirie Fields Melinda Hyder Ruth Marie Millman Timber Tina Scheer Enjoy and I'll probably have a what if for you by Sunday Night. |

No tribal switch in Guatemala:
Jim, Morgan, and Brianna all go in order. Nakum - Brandon, Danni, Brooke, Margaret, Judd, Cindy, Bobby Jon, Blake Yaxha - Rafe, Gary, Stephenie, Jamie, Lydia, Amy, Brian Ep 4 - Supposedly, Steph and Judd took a long time at the IC where you throw those things at the targets. Since both dipshits are on seperate tribes, both Nakum and Yaxha are slown down. But Danni steps it up for Nakum to save Judd's fat ass, and Yaxha goes to TC again. Lydia is useless, so they get rid of her. Ep 5 - Nakum continues to whoop Yaxha in the challenges. At this point, Amy is really hurting, so they decide to boot her. Ep 6 - Both tribes go to TC. The main Nakum alliance is Brandon/Danni/Brooke/Margaret/Bobby Jon. They decide to get rid of Judd, for being a fat whiny lump of shit. Yaxha boots Brian for being the next weakest player. Ep 7 - Jamie is starting to lose it over at Yaxha. Nakum kicks the shit out of Yaxha yet again. Jamie is an easy boot. Merged - Rafe, Gary, Steph, Brandon, BJ, Blake, Cindy, Brooke, Margaret, Danni Ep 8 - Gary manages to win the immunity challenge, so he's safe from the vote. Nakum boots Rafe for being the next strongest. Ep 9 - Gary finds the idol, and Steph is booted in his place. She becomes the first juror. Ep 10 - Gary's luck has run out at the immunities, and he gets voted off. Ep 11 - It's down to 7 original Nakum. Blake is the biggest threat, so he goes. Ep 12 - Cindy goes. Ep 13 - Down to Brooke/Brandon/Danni/BJ/Margaret. Bobby is annoyed with Margaret, and Margaret wants him gone for being a threat. They decide to get rid of Bobby first. Ep 14 - Margaret goes next. In the final 3 IC, Brandon drops out. Brooke and Danni fight it out for a very long time, but Danni barely moves an inch, and Brooke slides off. At TC, Danni decides to get rid of Brandon. Final TC votes Steph - Danni Gary - Danni Blake - Brooke Cindy - Brooke Bobby - Brandon Margaret - Brooke Brandon - Danni Danni wins a narrow 4-3 vote. |

Imagine if Susan and Gretch were switched! Susan on Pagong. Gretchen on Tagi. How will that works? What about Kimmi and Jerri were switched? What about Silas and Clarence were switched? What about Gabe and Rob were switched? What about Burton and Andrew were switched? What about Rafe and Brandon were switched? Interesting. |

ASS after Exile Island | ||
|
I'll put my all-female ASS with exile Island on hold for now, because I have another idea. So what would happen if they did an ASS after Exile Island (both sexes)? Well first off, They'd go back to Thailand. Second of all, they'd bring back Exile Island to make it fair. So, which Survivors made my cut? 18 will play, but there will be 21 Survivors (2 to 3 from each season except ASS 1). So three will be left out. Here they are:
BORNEO Colleen Haskell Sean Kaniff OUTBACK Tina Wesson AFRICA Lex van den Berghe Ethan Zohn MARQUESAS Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien Boston Rob Mariano THAILAND Shii Ann Huang Brian Heidik AMAZON Heidi Strobel Rob Cesternino PEARL ISLANDS Sandra Diaz-Twine Christa Hastie VANUATU Eliza Orlins PALAU Katie Gallagher Ian Rosenberger Stephenie LaGrossa GUATEMALA Judd Sergeant Jamie Newton EXILE ISLAND Bruce Kanegai Courtney Merit Now that we have our survivors, we now have to weed out the three who won't be playing. So again, we have a Palau style race for three immunity necklaces. It's a free-for-all, but Bruce, Christa and Boston Rob all come up with necklaces. So they get to choose their tribes. The three left out will not play. Probst hands out buffs (let's call the tribes Sook Jai, Chuay Ghan and Thai Shang; I know, those are the only names I could think of for now). Bruce leads Sook Jai, Christa leads Chuay Ghan and Boston Rob leads Thai Shang. Now it's a schoolyard pick 'em. Since Boston Rob won, he gets to pick first. Boston Rob picks Stephenie. (strength) Christa picks Cesternino. (brains) Bruce picks Colleen. (cuteness) Boston Rob picks Ian. (strength) Christa picks Sandra. (friends from PI) Bruce picks Lex. (strength) Boston Rob picks Heidi. (again, strength) Christa picks Sean. (she's a fan) Bruce picks Kathy. (splits her up from Boston Rob) Boston Rob picks Jamie. (don't know why) Christa picks Shii Ann. (knows the islands of Thailand) Bruce picks Ethan. (former winner) Boston Rob picks Courtney. (needs a crazy person on team) Christa picks Brian. (former winner) Bruce picks Katie. (splitting up her and Ian) Tina, Eliza and Judd aren't picked, and won't play. So, the tribes look like so: Sook Jai - Bruce, Colleen, Lex, Kathy, Ethan, Katie. Chuay Ghan - Christa, Cesternino, Sandra, Sean, Shii Ann, Brian. Thai Shang - Boston Rob, Stephenie, Ian, Heidi, Jamie, Courtney. Before the game starts, Probst adds one more twist. He says the person that was picked last will start on Exile Island until the next immunity challenge. This means that Katie is on her way to exile island. The game is officially on. EPISODE ONE Immunity Challenge #1: Quest for fire - Sook Jai gest Katie back from Exile Island, and it pays dividends. They win easily with Thai Shang coming in second, sending Chuay Ghan to tribal. Tribal Council - Sandra was not impressed with Brian's cockiness, and called him out in front of the entire tribe. Brian retorted by saying that Sandra won by luck, and her mouth will get her voted out. In the end, Chuay Ghan sided with Sassy Sandra and Brian was voted out unanmously. 5 votes Brian - Sandra, Christa, Cesternino, Shii Ann, Sean 1 votes Sandra - Brian EPISODE TWO Reward Challenge #1: Do or Dive (Marquesas RC2) - Kathy's knowledge of this challenge took Sook Jai to an early lead, but in the end, Thai Shang ended up winning thanks to the strength of Boston Rob and Ian. Sook Jai came in second and Chuay Ghan came in last. Thai Shang decided to send Sandra to Exile Island, where she will stay until tribal council. (Thai Shang got a Hawaiian Sling, 30-foot net and Fishing hooks) Immunity Challenge #2: Distress Signal (Africa IC3) - The teams had to come up with each other to see who has the best distress signal. But Probst has a twist for this time around. It will be Sook Jai vs. Chuay Ghan vs. Thai Shang vs. Sandra Diaz-Twine. Three "tribes" will get immunity, but if Sandra wins outright, all three tribes go to tribal council. Turns out that Boston Rob doesn't know jack about making a distress signal, causing Thai Shang to lose. Chuay Ghan had the right idea, taking their clothes and making a huge colorful SOS signal. Sook Jai's was subpar, making an SOS signal out of sticks and twigs. But Sassy Sandra, being the character she is, took every palm frong she could find, and the clothes on her back, and made the most obvious SOS sign out there. The pilot saw that Sandra's was the most obvious for one person, but he also saw that Chuay Ghan's was just as good. So Immunity Idols were dropped at Chauy Ghan for coming in first, Sandra for coming in second and Sook Jai for coming in third, sending Thai Shang to Tribal. Afterwards, a bikini-clad Sandra was able to return to Chuay Ghan. Tribal Council - Stephenie pointed out that some people (Boston Rob) was trying to be the alpha male and Heidi agreed. When Probst asked who, they wouldn't say. Ian said that everyone is putting out their 100% effort, except for Courtney who stretches all day long. Little did he know that Courtney had friends in low places when Ian was voted out. 4 votes Ian - Courtney, Stephenie, Heidi, Jamie 2 votes Courtney - Ian, Boston Rob EPISODE THREE Reward Challenge #2: Float it Notes (Pearl Islands RC4) - Chuay Ghan dominated this challenge, getting their pieces up quickly and forming their puzzle. Since Thai Shang came in last, Christa and Sandra had no trouble sending Boston Rob to Exile Island. (Chuay Ghan got a sewing kit, blankets, pillows and a matress) Immunity Challenge #3: Blind Leading the Blind (ASS IC4) Callers: Sandra (Chuay Ghan), Courtney (Thai Shang), Katie (Sook Jai). This was a close race. Courtney had her team in a huge lead and they were working on their puzzle before Sook Jai and Chuay Ghan had 10 pieces. But they couldn't figure it out. Chauy Ghan and Sook Jai came back and before you know it, all three teams were working on their puzzle. Chuay Ghan won, and Sook Jai just beat out Thai Shang by mere seconds, sending them back to Tribal. Tribal Council - The problems between Boston Rob and the girls started to mount and they wanted him gone. But they also knew that if they booted him, their strength would be gone. So they had a choice. Cut the cancer (Boston Rob), or get rid of the weak link (Jamie). They decided to go for the latter, and Jamie was voted out. 3 votes Jamie - Stephenie, Heidi, Courtney 2 votes Stephenie - Jamie, Boston Rob EPISODE FOUR Reward Challenge #3: Matchmaker (Amazon RC4) - Cesternino's knowledge of this game helped Chuay Ghan cruise to an early lead. But unlike in ASS 1, He had someone else that knew the game. Heidi. It didn't matter though. When Shii Ann took Bruce's toothbrush, Chuay Ghan won again and sent Colleen to Exile Island until Tribal Council. (Chuay Ghan won Casa de Charmin) Before the next Immunity Challenge, Probst revealed another twist. In being chosen to go to Exile Island, Colleen got to choose which tribe was to be dismatled, and she got to pick who got to go where. She chose to dismantle Thai Shang. Colleen will join the tribe who goes to tribal tonight. Tribes after Colleen's Draft: Sook Jai: Bruce, Lex, Kathy, Ethan, Katie, Boston Rob, Heidi. Chuay Ghan: Christa, Cesty, Sandra, Sean, Shii Ann, Courtney, Stephenie. Immunity Challenge #4: Battle Dig (Exile Island IC3) Heat One: Two Women Sandra/Christa vs. Katie/Heidi Winners - Sandra/Christa (Chuay Ghan - 1, Sook Jai - 0) Heat Two: Two Men Boston Rob/Lex vs. Sean/Cesty Winners: Boston Rob/Lex (Chuay Ghan - 1, Sook Jai - 1) Heat Three: Two Women/One Man Kathy/Bruce/Katie vs. Shii Ann/Sean/Steph Winners: Kathy/Bruce/Katie (Chuay Ghan - 1, Sook Jai - 2) Heat Four: Two Men/One Woman Ethan/Katie/Lex vs. Sean/Courtney/Cesty Winners: Sean/Courtney/Cesty (Chuay Ghan - 2, Sook Jai - 2) Final Heat: Man/Woman vs. Man/Woman Sandra/Cesty vs. Boston Rob/Kathy Winners: Boston Rob/Kathy (Sook Jai wins immunity, 3-2) Tribal Council - No one wanted to vote anyone out, but see as that there are more women than men in Chuay Ghan, it seemed almost comical. Both Sean and Cesty were pleading their case, but Christa had a meeting with Sandra and Stephenie. They all agreed that Sean was the weak link and had to go. Lo and behold, Sean was booted, and Colleen was welcomed into the Chuay Ghan tribe after her stay on Exile Island. 5 votes Sean - Christa, Sandra, Courtney, Shii Ann, Stephenie 2 votes Christa - Sean, Cesty (More later on today.) |

Re: ASS after Exile Island

Okay this is continued from my earlier post. If left off last time when Colleen returned from Exile Island and Sean was voted off. Here's who was voted out:
1. Brian (Winner-Thailand) 2. Ian (Palau) 3. Jamie (Guatemala) 4. Sean (Borneo) And the tribes are: Sook Jai - Boston Rob, Lex, Kathy, Ethan, Katie, Bruce, Heidi. Chuay Ghan - Christa, Cesty, Sassy Sandra, Colleen, Shii Ann, Courtney, Stephenie. EPISODE FIVE Reward Challenge #4: Choose Your Weapon (Borneo RC5) - The weapons were a blowgun, bows and arrows and a spear. It was tied after everyone shot all three weapons, so they went to a tiebreaker heat, using bows and arrows. This was between Sandra and Ethan. The Pearl Islands winner bested the Africa winner and got to send Boston Rob back to Exile Island. (Chuay Ghan won Steaks, grilling equipment, utensils and live chickens) Immunity Challenge #5: Mayan Roller Coaster Ride (Guatemala RC4) - Stephenie lost this challenge while in the Mayan Empire, she was bound and determined not to lose it again. With a team of very strong women and Cesty, they were able to cruise past Sook Jai, to take home immunity, sending Sook Jai to their first Tribal Council. Tribal Council - Tension mounts as Boston Rob and Heidi get into it about work ethic. Heidi IS right, but many of the other tribe members want to pick out Bruce because a huge post-merge threat. Heidi votes for Mariano to scare him a bit, but the tribe succeeded in voting out Bruce. 4 votes Bruce - Katie, Kathy, Lex, Ethan 2 votes Heidi - Boston Rob, Bruce 1 vote Boston Rob - Heidi EPISODE SIX Reward Challenge #5: Floating Lotus Puzzle (Thailand RC2) - Of course The Sassy One sits this out, and it was a good thing she did because Chuay Ghan cruised to another victory, thanks to Boston Rob having trouble untehering a puzzle piece. To switch it up, Chuay Ghan sends Kathy to Exile Island. Immunity Challenge #6: Carry That Weight (Pearl Islands IC6) - Yet again, the women of Chuay Ghan got to shine as Christa and Colleen each held up 150+ pounds, outlasting Boston Rob, Lex and Ethan. The challenge ended when Lex dropped his right after Colleen let hers go. Christa was the last woman standing, with 190 pounds on her shoulders. This sent Sook Jai back to Tribal. Tribal Council - Not pretty. Everyone knew who was going before they got there. The sweet part about it was that Lex, Kathy and Ethan let Boston Rob think Heidi was the one going. In the end, it was one of the most deserved blindsides in history as Mariano was voted out. 5 votes Boston Rob - Heidi, Katie, Kathy, Lex, Ethan 1 votes Heidi - Boston Rob EPISODE SEVEN Reward/Immunity Challenge #7: Sumo at Sea (Palau IC4) Matchups: Stephenie vs. Katie Cesty vs. Lex Shii Ann vs. Heidi Sandra vs. Ethan Courtney vs. Kathy Sitting out: Christa and Colleen Winners: Sook Jai, 5-4. They decided to take Sassy Sandra with them on a picnic aboard a 103-foot yacht. Tribal Council - Christa ponders her alliance, because she thinks Cesty is a great person...and she's a huge fan. So is Steph, but she told her an alliance is an alliance. In the end, Christa stuck with the Women's alliance and they voted out Cesty, meaning the end of the men in Chuay Ghan. 5 votes Cesty - Christa, Stephenie, Colleen, Shii Ann, Courtney 1 vote Courtney - Cesty EPISODE EIGHT Reward Challenge #6: Tribal Tiles (Vanuatu IC4) - The underdog women show that they can hang with some of the strongest men in Survivor as they blast through this challenge, blowing Sook Jai out of the water. To add insult to injury, the Chuay Ghans send Ethan to Exile Island. (Chuay Ghan won a working outdoor shower) Immunity Challenge #8: Pirhana Feast (Amazon IC6) - The gist of this challenge was to get as much raw beef in your basket as possible. The catch is that you have to use your teeth. Lucky for Sook Jai, Lex and Ethan were big biters, as was Kathy. But it wasn't enough. Chuay Ghan won, sending Sook Jai to another tribal council. Tribal Council - With the morale killed and with no one to stategically vote out, Sook Jai searched for answers. Kathy thought she was on the chopping block, but in all hindsight, Heidi was blindsided by Kathy, Ethan, Lex and Katie in a 4-1 vote. Afterwards, Probst tells the, not to go back to their camp, but to go to Chuay Ghan's camp. Then he hands Kathy six orange Buffs and told them that Sook Jai and Chuay Ghan are no more. The two tribes are now one. 4 votes Heidi - Katie, Kathy, Ethan, Lex 1 votes Katie - Heidi (On the verge of a Vanuatu Redux, who will be the sole survivor? Find out in the final installment later on tonight.) |

Answer my questions. I think it is worth considering.
I don't think Richard would have won if Gretchen was in his tribe. I think Gabe would last much longer and Kathy will be Debb 2.0 and gone very early. Ditto for Clarence. He will last much longer, too. He wouldn't align with Brandon, Lindsey and Kim P. |

Re: ASS after Exile Island

finishthemoff: "Imagine if Susan and Gretch were switched!"
New Pagong Joel Gervase Greg B.B. Jenna Colleen Ramona Susan New Tagi Richard Sean Dirk Rudy Kelly Stacey Sonja Gretchen Assuming Susan and Gretchen were about equal in terms of challenge strength (the ASS commentary revealed Susan was pretty strong in the challenges and I always viewed Gretch as relatively useful in challenges), this is how it would go down: Episode One The major difference between Gretchen and Susan in this first episode is that Gretchen had no intention of allying with the women and thus would not have agreed to a Rudy boot. I would assume she would side with the rest of the tribe and vote for Sonja as their weakest link. Episode Two Susan would definitely have become an outcast on Pagong, but she was stronger than Ramona and B.B. was just as nagging. B.B. asked to be voted out, and I'm sure Sue wouldn't have had a problem with the vote. Episode Three Tagi would still be the tribe sent to tribal council, and the Rudy-Stacey split would still come to fruition. It was originally Sue that turned on the women and votes aganst Stacey, with Sean and Dirk being swayed by some mysterious turn of events. Gretchen valued work ethic, and I think she would likely see Rudy as a more valuable tribe member than Stacey. The men would still have been coerced to side with Rudy, and Stacey would have still been sent packing. Episode Four Here's where things have the chance to get interesting. Ramona was recovering from her previous illness, but was originally booted because she was still the weakest link. With Sue, however, we have a member of Pagong that grates against the whole mood of the tribe. Would the young Survivors have booted Sue over Ramona based simply on irritation? Gervase surely would have pushed for it, Greg might have found that Sue replaced Jenna as his annoying tribe mate vote, and Jenna might have been inclined to keep her friend with Susan barking at her. It's a touch decision, but I'm going to say the Pagong tribe would have sent Susan packing, choosing to keep the more group-oriented player. Episode Five Here's where Richard's plans go out the window as well. With no Susan to turn to, Richard only has an alliance of three to form. Sean, Gretchen, and Dirk would have no part in his scheme, so Rich's options are decreased. Dirk and Sean split their votes in the actual tribal council, and one split would be enough to let Richard, Rudy, and Kelly control the vote. I think they would have targeted Dirk over Gretchen, and so Dirk is voted out 3-2-1 (or 3-1-1-1). Episode Six Pagong is back at tribal council, and Joel is still alienating the females. The only difference in this set-up is that Ramona replaces Gretchen, and assuming Ms. Gray didn't have some great respect for Joel's post-merge game plan, he's still sent packing. Episode Seven There's a little variation in the merged tribe, which now looks like this: Richard Kelly Rudy Sean Colleen Gervase Jenna Greg Gretchen Ramona I doubt Pagong would have been any wiser with Ramona, so they still split their votes, and the three-way Tagi alliance makes the call regarding who's going home. Greg still has immunity, and Gretchen isn't leading Pagong. Gervase is the biggest challenge threat, but Richard knows he might need a fourth person on his side, and lets the deals he has working with him (just as in the real game) carry. Jenna is voted out. By the way, the only way the Tagi Three couldn't control this vote is if two of Gretchen, Gervase, and Ramona both vote for the same person Jenna, Sean, or Colleen votes for. Gretchen wouldn't have turned on Richard, and he wouldn't have gotten Gervase's vote either. Colleen was liked by everyone, and Ramona wouldn't have voted for Gervase. If the Tagi Three would have been screwed over anywhere, it would be here, but a member of Pagong still would have been sent packing regardless. Episode Eight Gervase wins immunity, which means Sean's vote goes to Greg. The Tagi Three want Greg gone anyway, so Greg has four votes right there. If Pagong manages to wisen up, they can force a tie (assuming Gretchen sends her vote elsewhere). I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to Pagong, and I'll say they target Rudy. Greg has no votes to his name, whereas Rudy has a couple (depending on where Gretchen swings early on). Rudy goes in the tie. Episode Nine Without Rudy there to win immunity, it's hard to say who's safe. I'd like to think Richard would win it, but Greg and Gretchen are candidates as well. Assuming Gretchen doesn't win it, Sean's vote is going to her, and I think Pagong would see the sense in sending her packing over Richard or Kelly. Episode Ten Richard wins immunity. Sean's vote goes to Kelly. Here's where things have the potential to be very interesting, depending on how Rich and Kelly play it. Ramona and Gervase are paired up against Greg and Colleen. If either side decides to turn on the other, they need a Tagi vote to do so. However, I instead think Sean would be voted off, continuing the "Pagonging" of Tagi (Kelly still plays both sides of the fence, and seems like less of a challenge threat). Episode Eleven The Kelly immunity streak starts, and Kelly is safe at tribal council. Richard, the lone Tagi, is voted off. Episode Twelve Kelly wins immunity again, and the ex-members of Pagong are forced to look to each other for the boot. Both sides of Pagong want Kelly, but I think she's more likely to go against Greg and go with the weaker Ramona. Greg is voted off in a narrow vote. Episode Thirteen Kelly wins immunity again. There are two possible scenarios for the vote. Colleen and Kelly go against Ramona and Gervase, forcing a tie, or Kelly goes with Ramona and Gervase, voting out Colleen. Either way, I think Kelly would eventually side with Gervase and Ramona (either in the revote or the original vote) and take out Colleen. Kelly wins immunity again, and takes Ramona to the final 2. The jury votes like so: Rudy - Kelly Gretchen - Ramona? Sean - Kelly? Richard - Kelly Greg - Ramona Colleen - Ramona Gervase - Ramona I'm giving the edge to Ramona and declaring that she wins it all. A switched Gretchen and Susan is a tough season to speculate. If Pagong says naive, the game could instead go this way, starting at Episode Eight: Greg Gervase Ramona Colleen Sean Gretchen Rudy Kelly Richard wins anyway. |

Interesting, but I would think Gretchen is more likely to keep Sonja over Rudy due to her vote against Rudy in the seventh tribal council.
I think she and Dirk will be closer, too given to Gretchen's great love for Greg Buis. I know Kelly W and Gretchen will be tight. Kelly's two favorite castaways are Sonja and Gretchen. I actually think Susan and Joel will lock horn. I think BB and Ramona will be fine for a while. Susan apparently hate Greg and Greg will vote against Susan. Pagong will be even more disfunctional than ever. Stacey may have last longer. May have. |

Re: ASS after Exile Island

"Interesting, but I would think Gretchen is more likely to keep Sonja over Rudy due to her vote against Rudy in the seventh tribal council."
I thought about that, but Sonja did appear to be a bigger challenge liability than Rudy. I think Gretchen may have held off and went after Rudy in Episode 3, after Sonja was already gone and a reassesment of liabilities was necessary. "I think she and Dirk will be closer, too given to Gretchen's great love for Greg Buis." I'm not following you. Why would Gretchen be close to Dirk due to her having taken a liking to Greg? Dirk and Greg are completely different people, and I don't think Gretchen would have liked Dirk any more than the rest of her tribe (and even if she did, Richard's alliance of three that I think he would have formed pretty much prevented Dirk from sticking around, assuming Gretchen, Dirk, and Sean didn't form an alliance). "Kelly's two favorite castaways are Sonja and Gretchen." Maybe, but I don't think that would effect how Kelly cast her votes (especially prior to the merge and getting sick of picking people off). Kelly spent only 3 days (less with Gretchen, maybe?) with each of those two, and it makes sense for her to list them as her favorites since they're both genuinely nice people. Everybody like Sonja, and I'm sure many of them considered her one of their favorites. But she was still the first one gone, and there was a reason for that. "Beside, Susan was the one who want Dirk to be gone." Honestly, I had the Tagi Three keeping Sean simply because his votes were easy to establish after the merge and because Dirk left on the actual show. Without Sue and her distaste for Dirk, maybe Sean would have been the target instead. Dirk was shown to be annoying people with his preaching, and Sean was liked by most of the cast, so I'd say Dirk would have been voted out regardless. "I actually think Susan and Joel will lock horn." I had B.B. going first mainly because he asked to be sent packing. Susan would definitely grate against every grain of Pagong, and there's no way she would make the merge. It's just a question of when she goes, and there are still two tribal council where other players need to be sent packing. "Stacey may have last longer." Stacey played an active game, and was either going to go early or go far. If she succeeded in eliminating Rudy and getting some sort of control in Tagi, things could have been quite different for her. Producer manipulation or not, her game was a risky one, and could have ended as soon as she chose sides. |

Re: ASS after Exile Island

What if the first season had been played out like Exile Island?
Casaya - Gretchen, Susan, Ramona, Sonja La Mina - Richard, Rudy, B. B., Gervase Bayoneta - Colleen, Stacey, Kelly, Jenna Viveros - Greg, Joel, Dirk, Sean The first challenge, you'd likely have Gretchen, Gervase, Kelly, and Dirk going. Although it really is just luck, I see Dirk losing and Greg volunteering to be the first Exile (though he doesn't find the idol). At the first IC, I just can't see the Casaya tribe keeping up, primarily due to Sonja. At TC, Gretchen votes for Ramona, who she sees as lazy, partly because she feels sorry for Sonja. She won't coordinate votes with Sonja though, and Sonja mistakenly votes for Susan instead. Susan and Ramona do coordinate votes and take out Sonja, who they see as the weakest link. The pick'em is random, but let's go with B. B. and Stacey as the tribe heads. Stacey picks Joel, the strongest looking male. B. B. goes for Kelly, who looks like a strong competitor. Joel goes for Jenna, seeing her for a strong player. Kelly goes for Sean, another strong looking physical threat. Jenna goes for Dirk, continuing the theme. (Even then, she senses she and Greg wouldn't get along.) Sean goes for Colleen, the last of the young women - besides she's cute! Dirk goes for Gretchen, more or less on a whim. Colleen goes for Greg - of course! Gretchen goes for Rudy, feeling a bit sorry for him. Greg goes for Ramona as he certainly doesn't want Sue. Rudy gets Sue by default. Ramona chooses Gervase over Richard, and Richard becomes the second exile (though he also doesn't yet find the idol). New Casaya (Stacey-Joel-Jenna-Dirk-Gretchen-Rudy-Susan) faces off against New La Mina (B. B.-Kelly-Sean-Colleen-Greg-Ramona-Gervase) in the hidden snake challenge where New La Mina wins the fishing spear. In the anchored boat challenge, supposed weak links Rudy and Susan perform well above expectations whereas Sean is a disappointment. Casaya wins, sending La Mina to TC. B. B. is grating on the other tribe members while the elements start to get to him. Unsurprisingly, he's voted off his own tribe 6-1. Richard replaces him, and of course he knows how to make the most of that fishing spear. The next reward challenge is the ball catch. Gervase, Ramona, and Kelly toss for La Mina while Susan, Rudy, and Stacey toss for Casaya. In a close one, Dirk's performance gives the edge to Casaya. They decide to send Greg, La Mina's most impressive player in the challenge, back to Exile Island. With more clues, Greg does find the idol. The IC is the physical wrestling match. Susan wins a couple matches for Casaya, but La Mina's males outmatch those of Casaya, and La Mina wins immunity. By the time TC has rolled around, Stacey and Jenna can't stand one another even though they are supposedly allied, along with Joel and Dirk. Stacey thinks she's in charge and targets Rudy as the weak link. Stacey's arrogance leads her the disfavor of Gretchen, who quietly plans to vote against her. Susan, meanwhile, is scheming away like there's no tomorrow. She quickly realizes Rudy's vote is there for the claiming and so signs up in an alliance with him. And she starts recruiting Jenna in a major way. Although she can't count on Gretchen's vote, she can see she doesn't like Stacey. As long as the vote goes down between Stacey and Rudy, it will force Gretchen to choose between the two, which favors Rudy. In the end, Stacey loses out 4-2-1 as Jenna turns on her and Dirk inexplicably votes for Susan. The next RC is the water puzzle. Ramona sits out for La Mina. First up is Rudy v. Gervase, where Rudy builds up a nice lead for Casaya. Next up is Jenna v. Colleen, where Colleen makes up only a little ground. Next up is Gretchen v. Sean. Sean makes up significant ground, but not so much as was expected. Next up is Joel v. Greg, where Greg pulls even. Next up is Susan v. Kelly. Kelly pulls slightly ahead. Finally, it is Dirk v. Richard, where Richard proves once again how well he competes in the water. By the time Richard has the last puzzle piece in, Greg already has the arrangement nearly worked out, and they make short work of it. Getting revenge, Dirk is the one sent to Exile Island, and he doesn't even bother looking for the idol, not that he could have found it anyway. At the IC, Sean sits out for La Mina. Ramona and Gervase form one pair while Greg and Kelly form the other. Richard will draw up the water while Colleen sits in the harness. For Casaya, Gretchen sits in the harness while Rudy will draw up the water. Joel is paired with Dirk while Jenna pairs with Susan. This challenge would be an absolute disaster for Casaya. Neither Joel nor Susan is very good on the balance beam, slowing down both pairs while Greg and Kelly especially fly across the course. Ramona and Gervase do just OK, but that is good enough. La Mina wins again! A humbled Joel is nervous as the one left out of the last decision, but Jenna and Susan both agree that voting out Joel would be foolish, and as flaky as they find Dirk, the same applies to him. Susan isn't about to cut loose loyal Rudy, and so it comes down to Gretchen, whose voting can't be relied upon. Jenna and Susan get Joel on board as their fourth vote, and they vote out Gretchen 4-1-1. Gretchen voted for Dirk, and Dirk voted for Susan again. Leaves: La Mina: Greg, Richard, Sean, Gervase, Kelly, Colleen, Ramona Casaya: Joel, Dirk, Rudy, Jenna, Susan We'll have to see what else is in store as Exile Island continues. |

I always feel that Gretchen and Susan should have been switched in the first place.
Richard would have a hard time with Gretchen. Susan would have not been a mediawhore like she is now if she was placed in Pagong. I don't really think Dirk preach a lot. In his tribe, Dirk was the best athlete. It isn't apparent, but he was. |

Joel, not Richard, would have been seen the mastermind of alliance.
Gretchen was the one who was anti alliance. Joel want to form alliance! It would have been Joel-Ramona-Gerverse-Greg-Colleen alliance. |

Richard would have switched his tactics for dealing with Gretchen. He would play the resourceful card with her and most likely build a good union with her and Rudy based on work ethic. He would still be thinking, just have to go another route.
Sue also would change it up -her animosity with Greg had more to do with him being on the opposing tribe. Ramona would still be sick, and Sue adored Colleen. Greg might get fed up with her, but they would be working non stop on the camp and a different dynamic would spring up. |

Gerverse didn't seem to like Susan all that much.
He will definately be gone after Ramona. |
