We as a speciers are interdependent on each other, it's no different in Survivor. If you win every single competition on Survivor, you can still lose because the jury considers challenge winning irrelevent. You need to rely on others to survive. I agree with you though, that the more deserving are the ones who had the most control over the game. This is what Tina had. No, she didn't brainwash Colby, but she set him up by playing upon his morality.
