It's entirely possible. He hasn't posted an update yet today, but hopefully he is feeling at least somewhat better.
I wonder if Elena kept in touch with Shane since they were both from BC.

My next performance will be as Christine Colgate in the Vancouver Playhouse's production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, November 21 - December 27, 2009. I hope to see you there!
Elena will perform as Maria Elena Santiago in the Vancouver Arts Club's production of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, May 13th - July 11th, 2010.
(So she performs under another name as well.)
