I always say it was Jack's worst flashback because I don't think the whole episode was bad by any means. I haven't watched it lately. Isn't that the one where Juliet was branded? I do remember the judge telling Jack his tattoo meant "he walks among us but isn't one of us" and he said "that's what they say, that's not what they mean". That was sinister, but never went anywhere. Anyway I liked everything but the flashbacks in that episode. It could have been a tiny bit better without nasty Bai Ling.
