*77. ANGIE JAKUSZ*

I rewatched Survivor: Palau like four months ago and I barely remember anything about Angie, which is weird given her fairly sizable fan following (at least for a premerge boot from a season four years ago). The main thing with me as far as Angie goes is that I was always concerned about her left breast coming out of that bra. Like, for real. Only the left one tho, for some reason the right one didn't seem like it was in any danger. ANYWAY, Angie is one of those scorned alterna-chicks who never played in team sports and aren't accepted by society and never felt appreciated BLAH, except that she's also at least a little awesome in that she was surprisingly tough and one of the best (if not THE best) women in the challenges. I remember the outrage when Coby didn't pick Angie in the initial pick-em, which I thought was stupid. It was equally stupid when Angie was like "I will not be forgetting that these people chose me last!" or w/e. Especially since everyone on the DVD commentaries seemed to agree that everyone was picked based on who they were snuggle-fucking during the first three days (Ibrehem/Ashlee, Kim/Jeff, Jenn/Gregg, etc). It was total bullshit when Angie was voted off tho. She could've been somebody.

On Angie's personality: Angie was kind of a whiny little emo blah at times but she also got pretty fired up and she really wanted to succeed in the game. Ulong was so pathetic that any of them would take any small victory and be so grateful and enthusiastic about it, which was really endearing. I have a general distaste for underdogs and Angie didn't escape that, but she had some good moments, like during the "push the other person off this pedestal" challenge when she triumphantly screamed "WE ARE NOT GOING BACK TO IMMUNI-er TRIBAL" lol way to step on your moment there Ang.

On Angie's gameplay:
It's a little bit impossible to guage any member of Ulong's gameplay, but I will say that Angie lasted a great deal longer than she was supposed to and surprised a lot of people. She seemed to be really well-liked by her tribemates for the most part and it's complete bullshit that she was voted out over James, who fucking sucked, and Ibrehem, who was granted immunity precisely because he fucking sucked.

On Angie's placement:
Angie is someone I think I would really like on paper. A surprising, fiery, tough girl...but she really didn't leave much of an impression on me at all. I guess she was scrappy but her attitude kind of annoyed me. She seemed to judge other people while at the same time fretting that everyone always judges her, which is a minor complaint but still: meh. A premerge boot and my least favorite of the girls from her season that I'm ranking, this is where she goes.
