~79. ALEXIS JONES~
lol. Believe it or not her placement was planned out long before everyone started bringing her up. Anywho, Alexis is yet another member of one of my favo alliances. She gets a lot of shit for being INV but really she was easily the best candidate for female sweetheart that season and had quite a bit of screen time compared to the other young fan women, she just wasn't really all that memorable at all. She was an edgic choice to win at different points in the season actually. lmao @ the thought. One of the my favorite things about Alexis is that she runs a very popular and well-known site in which she charges young women to inspire them to be just like her. So fucking outrageous <33 Alexis is also responsible for a totally brills and underrated jury "question" in which she called Amanda a fake bitch and said she laughed at her attempts to look sad. If Alexis had kept up that passive aggressive bitchery the entire season instead of playing sugar to Natalie's spice, I might've liked her more. But she didn't.
On Alexis's personality: Alexis was apparently using Survivor as a springboard for her career as an awe-inspiring example to young women everywhere, so she spent most of the season being PAINFULLY MORP and added little to the dramz. She also went to a jury full of people she voted out and insisted she was an honest, pure woman who kept her morals in the game, which a lot of people hate her for but which I think is hilarious.
On Alexis's gameplay: It's hard to say. Some say Alexis would have won the game if the HII weren't such a big factor and others say she was a bland follower with no real ambition. One Alexis moment that stands out to me is her saying, right before the merge, that all of her eggs are in the Parvati basket and it might work out and it might not, but w/e. So that's not terribly reassuring if you're going with the theory that she set herself up in a fantastic way deliberately.
On Alexis's placement: I like Alexis more than most, she just doesn't stand out to me all that much. She didn't have a huge impact on her season other than being bff to some of the greatest women in Survivor history. She was kind of self-righteous and kind of phony, but mainly she was just kind of dull.
