-83. TAMMY LEITNER-
Tammy is a total badass and probably one of the most legitimately tough women the show has ever featured. She reminds me of the mom from Terminator and Terminator 2. Initially Tammy was someone I thought I was really going to like because she was kind of a negative character (heart you N) and no-nonsense. Unfortunately she also turned out to be a totally humorless shrew who was in one of my least favorite alliances in history, in a season that I didn't exactly care for that much to begin with. When the tables got flipped the Rotu four started going down, she wasn't a terrific sport about it. She did go down fighting though, which I respect. Then, at ftc, Tammy did one of my least favorite things on a reality show, which is tell religious people (in this case Mormon Neleh and Christian Vecepia) that they aren't truly religious because they played hard to win, and that they in fact betrayed all of their principles and values and are huge hypocrite and I HOPE THE MONEY WAS WORTH IT, etc. That kind of bitterness is so cheap and easy, and so unappealing to me, even if I don't necessarily care for Neleh or Vee. Bleh.
On Tammy's personality: Kathy once described Tammy as a "pitbull" which I think is an endearing, accurate and mayhaps mildly insulting description of her. She's definitely unafraid to speak her mind and go balls to wall, which, again, I would love if she weren't such a sour, self-serious hag about it.
On Tammy's gameplay: Tammy was in the Rotu four but she wasn't the leader of it, so it's hard to say what kind of strategic force she was, but once the tables were turned she never gave up. She tried to work quite a few angles before she was finally snuffed, and only then because Robert won immunity. One of her failings is that she didn't always get along with other women, as evidenced by her feud with one-time ally Zoe.
On Tammy's placement: Tammy is this high because I liked how hardcore she was, and she's this low because she's also a c.unt and pretty irrelevant, amirite?!
