*85. MIA GALEOTALANZA*

It's not really reflected in these photos, but Mia is one angry boss bitch. She left in the third episode so many may not remember, but Mia was the HBIC of the younger girls on Vanuatu. She was loud, bossy and just generally a very Jersey-esque caricature. Although I'm not sure if she was from Jersey. Whatever, Mia was an intense and angry during all three episodes. Things didn't get really juicy with her until after Dolly was voted out due to Eliza's paranoia, completely fucking over Mia, Julie and Lisa. But that's not what got under Mia's skin, what really bothered her was that Twila suggested she and the other young girls didn't contribute enough, which led Mama Bear Mia to go on a tirade using fancy words like "martyr" and repeated uses of the phrase "it's the card you're playing". Twila of course had some gems in there too, including "I'll whoop the little scrawny bitch's ass, 'cause I don't care." and "Don't give me no bullshit, bitch. 'Cause I will whip your butt." lol. Mia REFUSED to be fake tho, and then immediately went to try and intimidate Eliza into voting off Twila. We all know how well that worked out (Lisa eventually betrayed Mia), but w/e, Mia's bitchface will haunt me for the rest of my life. I truly wish she had lasted deep into the game because her meltdowns could have been truly epic. I don't know that her blood pressure could've handled it tho tbh.

On Mia's personality: Scout summed it up pretty well when she voted Mia out: "Your volcano erupts more than I like. Good luck in finding a husband that'll put up with you." SNAP. You've just been told AWF using a thematically appropriate METAPHOR. BITCH.

On Mia's gameplay: Mia's intense and constant anger prevented her from truly playing the game effectively, but I will say that I appreciated Mia's ballsy, outspoken approach. She was going to either be Queen Bitch or she was going to be voted out, and I wish there were more self-awareness lacking, legitimately volatile, finger-wagging drama queens on the show. It's what the world needs.

On Mia's placement:
Every time I do one of these write-ups I second guess their placement because of how many fond memories come rushing back, but Mia was pretty inconsequential to me tbh. I just don't see ranking her any higher, even using my love-to-hate scale. She was entertaining and I wish she'd lasted longer, but she didn't so here she is.
