Yet another stereotype that I would usually like: the beautiful bitch. Unfortch for Corinne and all of us, Corinne was in fact a wannabitch. A growing breed of bitch that is popular in reality television, the wannabitch exaggerates or invents his or her bitchy nature in order to increase his or her screentime and make a ~splash~ and end up on the Soup or something idk. What I do know is that Corinne tries too damn hard. You can tell she thinks her bitchiness is awesome. It's almost like a badge of honor for her, which is how I know it's an act. TRUE bitches do not know they're bitches. See: Jerri Manthey. It DISGUSTS ME that people always equate Corrine with living legend and true HBIC Jerri Manthey. People have said, out loud in front of God and everyone, that if they can't get Jerri for S20 they should ask Corinne. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU FOR REAL? Corrine is NO Jerri Manthey. Know that. And it saddens me that Corinne's obvious and desperate attempts to be known as "the bitch" have worked and that they've considered bringing her back for S20.
On Corinne's personality: Corinne needs to learn to love herself. She obviously thinks she only has value as some stale cheap imitation of a movie bitch caricature she saw at the theatre that one time, and that's sad. Corinne is a beautiful, well-spoken woman and I have no doubt there is a TRUE inner bitch somewhere underneath all that bluster. She needs to take some time for herself and find that bitch, nurture it and make it grow. In the meantime she should drop the act tho, srsly. And what does it say about the quality of Gabon contestants that I was rooting for this charlatan over almost everyone else by the end? Pitiful. I hope there's never another season like Gabon.
On Corinne's gameplay: Corinne did nothing wrong in the game really. She was fake most of the time, a little UTR (much to her annoyance as she was scripting her own one-liners that she was SURE was going to land her in the previously segment of every episode
) and she and the other Onions had a good plan on dealing with the members outside their alliance. She was fucked over by some bullshit twists which I
will not get into here.
On Corinne's placement: I've talked a lot about why Corinne is this low, but now I'm going to talk about why she's this high. Corinne sometimes made me laugh. I literally loled one time as she described her annoyance that her fellow tribemates were amazed by what they described as "tiny pickles" aka gherkins. lmaooo. She was also completely right about Sugar's fake ass, so gj Corinne.
