If this truly is the end (didn't feel like it), then it will be forgotten quickly, just as sadly the last 5 seasons of the show. The tragedy of ER ultimately is the dismal end that this classic show had to endure. Instead of going out strong it withered away quietly as if nobody cared. Unfortunately, not many people will.
I hadn't watched the show in years (about 7/8) and was very disappointed by the finale, reminded me why I stopped watching. I didn't watch the retrospective and now wish I had.

I do wonder if they're plans for a movie or 2 hr TV special.
