Thailandsurvivor, thank you for this and other threads. You have provided me with hours of entertainment when I should have been studying. But past votes as #1? Gotta disagree there. Personally I like Purple Rock of Death because it discourages ties. Ties are such a wuss-out thing to do and they're not dramatically interesting. The fact that people were bargaining with "past votes" in Africa showed that a new tiebreaker was needed.
