I'm extremely anti organized religion and subscribe whole heartily to it being the opiate of the masses so
please please forgive me if I offend anyone with my thoughts.

My question is does anyone really think this conflict will ever end? I don't.

I really really don't.

Both sides of this war boil down to religion don't they? And they get high every day on their faith (especially obviously in the middle
east, but also around the rest of the world)
and no amount of diplomacy or bombing the shit out of each other is going to quench their
insatiable thirst to kill each other simply because they believe the other one's religion is wrong.

It's frightening and yet as we all know has been going on for centuries all over the world with many different religions. Ireland is another obvious example.

God is NOT great nor is Elohim if you ask me if (S)He inspires this foaming at the mouth hatred of one another.

It will never ever end. 1000 years from now this will all still be happening unless they have simply killed each other off.
