I understand not appreciating the beginning seasons as much if you didn't start with them, because the show has evolved quite a bit since then, but I don't at all believe those seasons are overrated. They're just valued for different reasons. I personally wish the show was more about people and gameplay and less about SHOCKING! NEW! TWISTS!, which would be a mixture of both worlds I guess.
