I know nothing about record sales, but if I were David Cook, I wouldn't be disappointed with 842,000 especially with the way things are going.
I wouldn't call Jordin a flop either. Yeah she didn't sell as much as Carrie or Kelly, but she has had a lot of radio success which is something idol needed after the disaster of Taylor Hicks.
Now with all that said, I'm more surprised by David Archuleta's record sales. :O I would have thought his fanbase was the type that spent their life savings buying multiple copies of his album. I've definitely heard his single on the radio like 37 times more than David Cook's, too.
