Not sure Tocantins is going to count as a desert if Jeff said it was very "wet," though, and subject to torrential downpours. Deserts can be cold, for sure, but they can't be wet or they're, well, not deserts. Tocantins is looking to be like the area they used for Survivor: Outback. Rugged, but not arid. The only real desert they've been to is Kenya.
