when they had pretty pathetic teams running the course. Plus those chickens and that falcon were sadly under-utilized.
either way, I cannot understand how there are people who love this season (same with the onions). The course was definitely nothing special, it was only slightly more interesting than the dull ass All-Stars course. There were no iconic epic tasks (TAR 12's animals made the season). The cast is a third rate imitation of past seasons. Going west didn't work out so well this time especially since they started out in over-used South America and totally under-utilized New Zealand. (The last West-ward season was so good since it plunged all of the racers in what is usually reserved as the toughest portion of the race) The only memorable teams to come out of this are Terrence and Sarah (whose storyline in the beginning was a stupid feud thanks to Nick and Starr, it wasn't till later that we realized how funny a team they were until it was too late) and Dandrew (seriously, they're bumbling idiots but you definitely remember them).
Definitely nowhere near the all around awesomeness of TAR's 1, 2, 3, 5 and 12...even 10. all in all, this season wasn't as unbearable as TAR6 but it's pretty close.
