Finally saw last weeks episode.
Did they recast the actress who plays Marta? Suddenly she looks completely different. It's like when I used to watch soap operas and suddenly a main character switches.
Third grade is NOT too young to know the facts of life. Some girls get their periods as early as 5th grade. You don't want to wait around to fill them in on this stuff. I knew way younger - I just kinda assumed most did. I really don't recall what my friends knew when.
They should have Michael go to the new job - that's realistic isn't it? It would be silly if he made some emotional decision to stay in the same spot. Let his career advance. ETA - I realized the logical solution would be to have Michael leave but let Mom and daughter stay so she can finish highschool with friends. Quite frankly, lots of families do this. I've known several myself. These weren't even army families.
I thought having Frank and what's-her-name cheat at the exact same time was a cop out.
