Why it's #2 - Oh c'mon, if you listened to Canto-pop circa mid 90s, this was the song you would have heard on the radio. This is the song that made Leo famous. The one that everyone had heard of and everyone knew how to sing. Teh falsetto has never been secksier and it never will be coming from anyone else. And the music vid! It tells a story. Which can only be summed up in one word: adorkable. For putting Leo on the map, it really should be on top. But #1 was simply too good to demote. <3
Why it's not higher - Ooo watch the second vid, and tell me if ya need a translation. He's saying he could have a opened a concert all by himself, just with this song, back in the day. Cuz it was that good. But the reality is that he didn't. *sniffle* Not until he redefined himself with a bunch of new hits, in a new time, did he find the courage to go out there. Which only goes to show, #1 > #2. The song is incredible nonetheless. Oh and notice how the girl he's with at the end of the vid is not the one he was trying to court at the beginning? Tsk tsk, Leo chu playah.
A VERY Honoroable Mention - 好想好想
Once again, I know exactly what the title means, but please do tell mald. =O This song holds a very special place in my <3 And honestly, it's pretty much good enough to be incredibly high up on my list. But blame my irrational hatred for Mandarin songs kk? ^_^ It's absolutely beautiful regardless.
