TAR2's cast is still the best in terms of boot order and entertainment: the kickass female team, goofy comic relief and fabulous best friends all made it far, with the Final 3 consisting of the dysfunctional couple, their game rivals and their love interest. Couldn't script it better than that.
True. Other satisfying/possibly satisfying arrangements:
TAR 1 had the completely fractured Guido/Frank&Marg/Rob&Brennan alliance in F3.
TAR 3, of course, has a fairly satisfying F3 also. I even think that the disappointments of the T&T and Dennis/Andrew boots helped make the following 3/4 boots all the more satisfying. And tbh, a F3 of Flo/Zach, Derek/Drew and JVJ would've been kind of bland.
TAR 10 would've been great if the druggies had been eliminated in Barcelona (or in Kuwait). Bama vs. BQs would've finished off a full-season rivalry that hadn't existed since...TAR3, no? And of course, Romberly > models.
TAR 12 would probably be my second favorite season had TKR been eliminated in Taipei. Nate/Jen having to perform the final roadblock would be epic, plus Ron/Chris would win.
