The wardens here had to kill a bear this week.
The McDonald's staff accom kids left their beer cans and garbage on their porch and a bear came into town and ate it. Chased out. Then he found crabapples. Drugged and taken out. Then he found the sewage plant/organics place. Shocked by electrified fence and didn't care. Then he went right downtown in the alleys. Then they chased him out and had to kill him.
A new bear was on my street two days ago asleep in a tree directly behind my work in the yard of one of our staff accommodations for hours and hours and hours. He was chased out of town and didn't come back today. Thank goodness. I don't want another one to die.
