Kristy's CD has a great cover picture, and I thought it would do better than it has, but the poor sales shouldn't shock anyone. Aside from the fact that she just isn't a very good singer, there's also the problem that country isn't her natural genre (she auditioned with Amazing Grace and her top 24 song was Rescue Me). She went to country to stay in the competition and gain a voting base she wouldn't have as a pop singer. It was a good move on the show and kept her in the competition a month or more longer than she would have otherwise, but it doesn't necesarily work for starting a career. Country fans can spot a phony pretty easily, and she's NOT the real deal.
