i wonder how pepaw came through the hurricane? i have a friend up near there whose house got crunched right over the peak of the roof by a huge pine tree. that tree fell from the back yard, right straight down the peak of the roof and into the front yard. he's got a fucking structural engineer coming out to see how badly the house was damaged. THAT isn't good.
pepaw always talked about his big trees so i bet at least one of them fell. i'll have to ask him about it in my letter---which i'm working on.
