Well, if one of the biggest (the biggest?) in the country fails, I am not quite sure how I would go about choosing a "safer" one anyway. Meanwhile,
would a bank that can bail out two other huge financial corps be likely to fail too?
My brother has been telling me this was about to happen for at least 14 months now. grrrrrr, I hate this stuff, I suck at it, and, since I moved, the nearest WAMU is 45 minutes away, so I was about to change anyway...but change to WHAT?
Natch, I just got home and turned on the news and now everyone I know IRL is asleep, so there is no one to ask. Something tells me, in a few hours when the bank opens, there will be a hell of a lot of people clearing out their accounts, no matter how many assurances that "your account number won't even change."
