Not sure what I think about the importance of this season for the show as a whole, but whether this season is good will depend on how long Fang tribe members make it. It's a double-edged sword. On one hand, Fang sucks, so getting rid of them would make me happy. That said, the audience is totally on their side as of now because we know so little about Kota (we know a bit about Charlie, a bit about Bob, and that's it). So while I think the Kota tribemates might be better, perhaps the season will have more going for it if Fang's horrible members last a little longer and can continue the drama of handling a horrible tribe.
Survivor Palau we barely knew about Koror yet the fans ate that season up and loved Tom and Ian (who came from Koror).
