I don't know, buy my mom might. My grandmother would never, ever even tell me what the stuff on her ring meant. That woman loved me so, so much; I'm not even sure if there are words to describe how much she loved me. She wouldn't tell me the Eastern Star secrets though image I miss my Grammy.

There is always a hallway with pictures of all the past potentates for that temple (I think that's what they are called). I've never seen one that looked Middle Eastern; what is the connection? Were the first masons from the east?

My Grandmother in law was Worthy Matron (maybe several different times) and we always went to the Mason's building for ceremonies. Face the East.... blah blah ... I kinda liked it, it was so formal and rather "powerful". I think the mystery of it all added to the feeling.
