2. Lists!
This was an amazing era at CTS! It allowed unlimited possibilities. We could rank anything we wanted, from Survivor contestants to haircuts. To this day, there are still many ranking threads around. However, they are not quite as common as they used to be. Every once in a while we will get a superb ranking thread, such as my own when I ranked the hottest Survivor men. Each list had some sort of controversy, though none as much as when louie77 ranked every Big Brother player ever. Most people still consider that list to be the worst one to ever appear at CTS. Lists just missed out on the number one spot because they lacked the ability for multiple people to participate. The most people could do was sit back and watch as their favorites were robbed of a high ranking.
1. Games!
Games were an era at CTS that will live on forever. They are known to be rip-offs of ORGs, but here at CTS each game has just one thread. And they are superior to ORG's because they can be as random and rigged as we want. There are no limits. The first successful CTS game is considered to be Us Kids Know's Next Top Yuku Friend. It started out as a cutthroat competition. And it gradually got more and more off topic when people began to lose interests. It eventually became so threadjacked, that is was a completely random thread until Kathy Sleckman made an appearance and was immediately crowned the winner. That game is a legend, and will live on in CTS infamy. It spawned many other games, which completed more successfully and had just as high ratings, such as Paris' Pointless Game, A Shot at a Flavor of a Rock of a New York Bachelor with SOA, Big Lulzie, and the currently running I Survived a Clubs Game Show. There are also quite a few mini, less popular or successful games. All CTS games can involve participants of other posters, in fact that is essential to them. No two games are alike. And the entire forum anxiously awaits a sequal to some of these games. Will UKK ever have a cycle 2? Will there be a PPG2? Will Big Lulzie invite a new batch of people into the house? Will SOA's love fail, thus causing him to have to look for love again? Only time will tell...
