That's exactly my problem with Brooke. She's very pretty and has a nice voice. When she performs on the piano or guitar She LOOKS like a sensitive 70's singer-songwriter (specifically, Carly Simon). And we've been TOLD she writes songs. But we've never actually heard anything she's written. A "songwriter" whose songs aren't good enough to be performed is kind of pointless.
