It's mauve and it's hideous. Hubby's ex had the family room and upstairs bedroom done with that color. 
It took me 2 years of living here before I even told him how much I hate it. Most of our furniture and dishes are her old crap as well. It's still in
pretty decent shape, but as soon as my son moves away, we are either re carpeting the whole house or moving. We are looking for someplace with more acreage...
so we are just living with the carpet for now. Ick.
