That sounds like Madonna's Hard Candy. Her "voice" was completely void of any kind of passion. It was the same robotic monotone "singing" that made Rihanna's early albums suck ass. Britney's voice wasn't at all anything special, but at least it wasn't 100% monotone, and I believed her in the songs she was singing.
"Miles Away" was the only halfway decent song that didn't sound like Britney's leftovers.
Oh God yes! Her new album is so terrible! I've loved most her albums, but "Hard Candy" is pure shit. At first I wasn't sure if I
didn't like it because "Confessions" was so hard to follow up, but nope, it's horrible. Like, "Bedtime Stories" horrible.
