I know, it's old as fuck and all, but really, the original wasn't that good...and the movies became worse and worse with each sequel, and then they got
really ridiculous. Jason goes to Manhatten? Jason X? Seriously?? At least Nightmare on Elm Street had three good movies and one average one out of
seven. That's better than 10 shitty movies.
So yeah, there's really nothing to ruin here. But I still think they'd be better off with just making their own super horror villain.
