Yes, but there was never any indication that Kathryn was in a coalition with Stephen and Jim. I think they just hung out together because they were all very
close in age whereas Charlie and Kate were much older. Plus, everyone knew Kathryn was the mole before the Unholy Trinity became a factor, Stephen and Jim
were just her friends.
Bill was in a coalition with Darwin, but Darwin clearly initiated it. The mole has to be able to accept a coalition, otherwise he/she would be too suspicious. Whoever is fortunate/unfortunate enough to establish a coalition with the mole does that of his or her own volition.
