Oh and try and speak a bit of French when ordering/buying stuff and when with a local, you'll get a better reception. I never had a problem at all from any of the Parisians but I'm taking French in Uni.

Also and try and dress fashionable, honestly just wear your best clothes there every day, you'll quickly find out that EVERYONE and I mean everyone looks fabulous, and hot. It was strangely irritating to see other tourists who wore college sweaters and sweatpants with sneakers...they looked like shit.
