^ I would have jogged at a pace that would be like a 20 minute mile. I am going from nothing..obviously eventually I would bump it up as my body would get used to the mile but after a month, as I said, my legs just can't take the jogging. My thighs feel like I am walking/jogging uphill after only a few minutes on flat ground.

I think I read once that the best thing is a combo..to jog for a minute, walk for a minute, jog for a minute, walk for a minute b/c the stop/start burns more calories than straight jogging or walking.
