I doubt that. Most of the company had already been union for many years; my dept and some others are just now joining.
My company is a major major player in the pharmaceutical industry. They aint going nowhere any time soon.

This little shakeup sure has been amusing so far though. People are already "demanding the right" for a longer time for a meeting with the union rep because we didn't have time to go over and understand everything last week. People honestly don't get that its not the company's responsibility to provide us with the time we need for union activities. There's already talk of petitions. Cracks my shit up! I can't wait to see what happens next week.
OH! And the whole shop steward selection process is shaping up to be golden.
