AOL chatrooms!!!
In 95 or 96 I had this beast of a Toshiba laptop... it was simply "pentium" and was heavy as hell. I liked to hang out in the AOL Theatre Chat with the regular crew and make fun of all the teenagers who would pop in with some form of "Eponine" as their username.
For a while I had Worldspy, which was completely free. I could even pwn n00bs in Ultima Online with my free dialup connection, it was so good.
