I have a macbook and an iMac (iMac is still in the box, I need to clean off my old PC on the desk first and then set up the iMac). I use my windows machine a
lot because I haven't had the time to get used to the Macs.
For instance, I do a LOT of sorting of spreadsheets in Excel. I love a one touch scroll on my windows pc laptop touch pad. How do I set up the touchpad on the macbook for a one finger, one touch scroll? So far, I have only been able to do it using 2 fingers and I find that very awkward.
One other question, my accountant tells me that the quickbooks version for mac isn't exactly compatible with the windows version, so if I fully convert, I will have to setup a windows OS in the macbook just for quickbooks. I am just too busy to figure all this shit out. I am doing everything I can to avoid Vista, and so I might end up just keeping this PC notebook just for the Quickbooks stuff if I ever get around to fully migrating.
Sigh. I would seriously pay someone for some remote tutoring to get used to the Macs. I need to find someone who knows both operating systems well.
