I was really close with my Dad's mom, I know that I was her favorite grandchild! I didn't like my grandpa from what I remember, he died when I was 3.
I didn't know my Mom's dad that well, but my mom's mother moved in with us until she passed away. She was a hoot. We'd watch comedy central together and she'd tell the wittiest stories all the time. I wish I had gotten to know her more, but she lived in California when I was younger and well we live in Wisconsin so we only saw her about 6 times (for a few weeks each visit) before she moved in with us.
