2. Mr Eko and Martin Keamy (portrayed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Kevin Durand)
As two of the most physically dominant lostaways EVER, Eko and Keamy share the #2 spot in Apeshit's Top 30 Characters of Lost ranking.
Lets start with Eko. He was by far the single greatest thing that came out of arguably the worst season of the show, season 2. Eko was first seen when Jin, Michael and Sawyer returned to the Island after the events that happened in the season 1 finale (The Others kidnapped WAAAAAAAAAALLT and blew up the raft). Remember, this was still the period where the Others were thought to be these badass natives of the island instead of the computer geeks they were revealed as in season three. So when Jin, Mike and Sawyer washed up back shore and encountered the tailies they naturally mistook them as the others.
Eko beating them with his Jesus stick certainly didn't help to change that view.

Of course later, Eko and his buddies were revealed to be the survivors of the tail side of the plane that crashed (and we gotta an awesome flashback episode "The Other 48 days" which detailed the first 48 days on the island after from the perspective of the tailies. Eko was really a great character. He wielded the mighty mjolnir, the Jesus stick and greeted everyone "Hello, I am Mr. Eko" with his ultra-badass voice.
Like I said, Eko was awesome.
Too bad his death was cheap as fuck. Really tho, the first time he faces Smokie he stares at it and Smokie runs away like a coward. The next time Smokie pounds him like a punching bag. I can understand why his death was rather lame aince the actor of Eko asked to be written off the show due to a tragedy in the family and the death of the character was probably written in a hurry. Eko was the awesomeness back in the day and its a same he went out so soon. Also he sucks at chess. Losing to crazy Hurley? Geez.
Now Keamy is a controversy character. Most people probably hate his guts because he killed Alex who, (for no apparent reason) is some kind of a fan favourite. But then again, Keamy is meant to be hated. That's the whole point of the character. And I appreciate characters like that. Cause someone has to, right?
In just five episodes Keamy (along with his trusty sidekick Omar and the rest of his military team):
Killied Karl
Killed Rousseau
Attacked the barracks
Killed Alex
Survived Smokie
Returned to the freighter
Killed Doc Ray
Killed Cap Gault
Returned to the island
Captured Ben
After that Keamy and his team came under attack by the Others. An attack where Kocol, Lacour and Redfern were killed along with Omar (RIP) who was killed by his best friend forever Keamy, leaving him as the last man standing.
Keamy's definitive moment as a character? Taking on Sayid and emerging victorious. What a GLORIOUS battle. If it weren't for Ben's boyfriend Richard...
However like all great men, Keamy's time came to an end. It is only fitting that it came by the hands of the CHAMPION of Apeshit's Top 30 Characters of LOST...
1. Benjamin Linus (portrayed by Michael Emerson)
Yes in a rather predictable outcome, Ben wins. But then again, doesn't he always win?
Ben is quite frankly the best TV character in the 20th century. And Michael Emerson plays him to perfection. Thank God the writers didn't kill him off in season 2 (when he was still on Fake Henry Gale-mode) like they had originally intended. Kinda like Jack was supposed to die in the first episode. Only Jack dying would've been awesome while Ben dying would've sucked ass. Again, thank GOD the writers didnt go trough with it. Not killing Ben quite possibly saved the show from sucking major ass. Hes just that good.
Ben is awesome. Hes manipulative as hell. He has the single greatest "I just fucked you over completely" smirk I have ever seen and he spouts one-liners constantly.

Karl: Keep your mouth shut, Mr. Linus.
Ben Linus: Karl. Now if you're gonna sleep with my daughter, I insist you call me Ben.
Ben Linus: I have another name for you.

Of course, if I was one of them, these people that you just assume are your enemies, what would I do? There would be no balloon so I would draw them out to a really secluded place, like a cave or some underbrush, a good place for a trap...an ambush. And when your friends got there a bunch of my people would be waiting for them. Then they would use them to trade for me. I guess it's a good thing I'm not one of them, huh?
