HP complained that while Michael tried to disarm the bomb none of the characters he betrayed knew that (only Jin who didn't have a problem with him at that point and Desmond did). Hello! So if they knew Michael tried to help them that would be OK but because they didn't then it was meaningless or less meaningful?
