Deep Impact was so much better.

Deep Impact was HORRIBLE! It was cheesy too, but not in an entertaining way. Deep Impact (hereafter DI) was like 14 stories thrown together. The loser news lady suddenly gets noticed, goes straight to the anchor desk, and then just dies. Elijah and LeeLee get married, and then LL's mom leaves the baby with HER to take care of....on a motorcycle?!
They have a lottery to see who gets to live?!
Blair whathisname doesn't believe in God, and then his girlfriend (at the end when they get to say goodbye on cam) tells him he'd better come back and haunt her, as they both giggle. HELLO! You're about to die in a fiery, and Im pretty sure PAINFUL death, and there's a possibility that the Earth will be destroyed - TEE HEE!!!
I hated that fucking movie. It's SO bad.
At least Armageddon was entertaining in its cheesiness. It embraced it and knew it was cheese. DI was trying to come off as a realistic drama, and looked like some lameass Sci Fi channel movie.
